Micah Rhodes, a prominent leader of Black Lives Matter in Portland, Oregon has been convicted of yet another sex crime when he was tried for sexual abuse of someone underage. Rhodes was convicted as a juvenile of a sexual abuse crime and was on probation at the time of the second charge. There is a third charge of sexual abuse of an underage male he met on Grindr. But for some strange reason his name does not appear on the official sex offender registry. The recent conviction carries up to a five year prison sentence, but the prosecutors are asking for between 2 and 2 1/2 years. Some believe he will get probation. Why? Because he’s a member of BLM? Could be, after all it is Portland.
Rhodes has previously been convicted of sex abuse when he was a minor, and was on probation for such at the time of this second incident. Additionally, he was a registered sex offender. Strangely enough, however, he is not listed on the official sex offender registry.
Furthermore, Rhodes also faces another set of sex abuse charges in Multnomah County, this time involving an underage boy whom he met via Grindr.
Rhodes was instrumental in the planning of the election week protests and riots in Portland in the aftermath of Trump’s Presidential victory.
BLM must be really proud of Rhodes and what he has accomplished in the way of sexual assaults. Sheesh.
